kyge banda tuttu bAyige baralilla.
Another chapter in my hunt for a site. (Script looks just too good for a Telugu film)
I had planned on registering a site yesterday on my name.
As expected we were well ahead of time.. (My Dad who accompanies me is stickler for time)
Everybody (the team of sellers: there was only one owner but atleast half a dozen people had come along in a Toyota Qualis, the agent, the stamp vendor, and ofcourse me the purchaser.) were at the sub-registrar office, Yelhanka. I had my own doubts that the registration would continue today.
Different newspapers gave different views on registration of revenue sites but they were unanimous on the issue of registration of converted sites. However the ground reality was different. Situation looked confusing since Friday.. and though I had informed the seller, they were pretty confident that there would be no problem in registering on Monday (i.e yesterday: 18th dec). They even thought that it was good idea to collect the non-disclosed amount on Sunday itself. However better sense prevailed among the sellers (Probably they sensed that I was not at all comfortable and I sincerely thank them for that.) and they postponed the rest amount till we heard officially that we could get the site registered.
Now as soon as we gathered, there was an extended get-together among the selling party themselves about something that they never revealed.. And that let to the delay in signing some of the forms needed for registration.. Why the delay now and what led to the discussions.. can't they sign and then discuss .. I have no answers. However by the time they signed and the stamp vendor went inside the
office.. it was two and half hours since we were at that place.
And the stamp vendor came back after another half-an-hour and told us.. the registrars are just to scared to register. (so why were the registrars scared .. to register). It was told that there was a Gazatte that told that if the registrar were to register any site without proper documents, then they could face 3 years in jail and 10k in prison. So their solution.. not register at all.
What it meant was that I returned empty handed...and the tension seems to build..
I now get to know that registrars are allowing "postponed registrations.." . As in register today and they would get it verify the documents in some time and then let us know.. how and when is not known. Both seller and I opted out of it and so we wait another day ...

Ups and down
As all ways I have some sweet news and some harsh realities to tell.
Weekend was a forgettable one...
After a really forgettable weekend... where I had to indulge in real estate deals which I new wouldn't come out practically...and a day in the week started with a thud.. My plan to sell off OBC and Jindal Polyfilms landed flat on my face caught completely off guard. I hadn't read about the CRR rate hike.. (how foolish of me not to read it!!!!!)..
And after two days, where 47k was washed off the table, wednesday brought some cheer where 10k got restored. The first two days I did worse than sensex and nifty .. However today i.e wednesday I seem to be better than the two indices. Also I am allotted 10 shares of sobha developers.
I hope to get my refund in another two days and hope sobha lists with a decent profit.

My Initial days at my new company.
This is my first post.. The post that describes whats going to be written in this blog will be put later some other day.
As I make a move to another company, curiosity took the better of me.
The first few days is suppose to be induction training and the induction training was all blah blah abt why people in new company think that it is the greatest company in the world. Ofcourse if they had found a better company or a better job they would have surely moved. Either they didn't try out or they were not ready to risk...
Few things that stand out from my previous company...
The induction training facilitators are much more professional (atleast look more professional).
The stationery seems better.
Few things I couldn' t understand..
Why would you bore people with some info abt the company... If the employees are interested they would search the info in the intranet, ask collegues and ofcourse go thro the course material. Will what other employees think abt the company motivate you ...
Few things different in this company from my previous company.
The restrooms are surely better.. I mean they accommodate more and a little more spacious than they did in my previous company.
They are too many doors in the new company... with all access controls and what not.. All glass windows are either painted or they are no were near the conference rooms and cubicles.. What I mean is there is no way for sunlight to come. In my previous company.. there was lot of scope for sunlight to enter cubicle..
